Dear Parishioners,

On Tuesday, April 1, I was pleased to welcome Archbishop Nelson Perez to St. Teresa of Avila Parish for our Trust and Hope Parish Meeting. I am grateful for the Archbishop’s participation, and the thought-provoking discussion led by our parishioner, Lori Tedjeske. More than 120 parishioners attended and had the opportunity to interact in discussion with each other and share their thoughts with the group. Archbishop Perez shared information on his background and his vision for the Catholic Church of Philadelphia for the next 20 years. Thank you to all who participated as we work to grow our Church and share the good news of the Gospel together. We must embrace these times in which we live as the Church, open to the regenerative powers of the Holy Spirit, with trust and hope, and with courage and responsibility.
